Cyclical Nurse Scheduling in Shah Alam Hospital Using Goal Programming

A shift work schedule is extremely important to obtain the optimum result of allocation since it involves 24 hours continuous services. Every nurse could not avoid their services are very towards patients in hospital. The major objective study propose a cyclical scheduling Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Shah Alam hospital using Goal Programming. It help head spend less effort on building new schedules periodically and increase satisfaction among nurses by providing fairness schedules. There were nine hard constraints three soft for model. results presented optimal solution where all goals achieved thus, provided fair 15 days. Then, pattern was rotated based set 225 first will be used days, then continuously another days until reached experienced every sets schedule. generated LINGO software which took short time solve problem.
